Edgar Cayce Potomac Area
Northern Virginia

About Us - Northern Virginia

Northern Virginia encompasses an area on the Potomac River that also borders the District of Columbia and Maryland.  Just a few well-known city and county names associated with the area include:  Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Oakton,
Vienna, Reston, McLean, Chantilly, and Leesburg.  Other communities extend west to the Blue Ridge Mountains and south to the Rappahannock River. The area is rich with colonial and civil war history and is home to many government agencies as well as major technology and commercial businesses.

The Northern Virginia Team consists of A.R.E. members and volunteers who make the Cayce work available by maintaining a network of study groups and by sponsoring programs on spiritual growth, ancient mysteries, and holistic health.  We also teach classes and hold discussion on topics such as Dreams, Meditation, Universal Laws, Indigos and Crystal Children, Spirituality and Religion, and Astrology.   Program
participants come from many surrounding states including Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

Spiritual Growth Groups

Spiritual growth groups are small groups of people who gather together on a regular basis for spiritual development. Led by Edgar Cayce, the first study group formed in 1931 to deepen their understanding and application of the information given by Mr. Cayce during his trance sessions. This material is referred to as the “Readings” and forms the basis for three books: A Search for God, Books I, II, and III. Today these books are used by hundreds of people around the world to study, discuss, and apply as experiments in daily living.

Spiritual growth groups typically meet for two hours and, in addition to the discussion, each group meditates and prays together.  Members also work to apply helpful concepts from the Readings in their daily lives. Although the Search for God books constitute the foundation for the group work, complementary material is often included in for study and application.

Be glad you have the opportunity to be alive at this time and to be part of that preparing for the coming influence of a spiritual nature that must rule the world
